Autumn is now well and truly with us with colder temperatures and those wonderful colours that make this country so beautiful at this time of the year (if not, at any other time of the year as well!). The two big apple trees in our garden are now groaning with apples as they have been for a while now. Not only are they delicious to eat on their own, but have also made crumbles, are part of the 2 1/2 litres of scrumpy cider currently being made in our garage and today, made 1/2 a litre of delicious fresh apple juice. This is notwithstanding the 100 apples also put into storage in the garage. This has left many apples still on the trees
